Key Role

“Super connector to change.”

Overarching Goal

Be the respected, “go to” resource for factors related to racial employment equity (data, information, connection, access, results).

Super Connector Goals

  • Secure and sustain the commitment to racial employment equity with the private sector, public sector, nonprofit and affected constituencies.
  • Use convening structures of Everybody In to connect, align and accelerate capacity to deliver on our common goal of racial employment equity in the region.
  • Define the set of public, nonprofit and private sector policies and best practices that will move us most viably toward our vision.
  • Create a public awareness campaign to animate how the movement is progressing and succeeding.

Born in 2012

A 2012 Blue Ribbon Commission (BRC) report charged Everybody In with the imperative role of supporting and aligning regional economic development; implementing strategies to reduce racial employment disparities; and proposing actionable steps to be implemented within five years. Everybody In was initiated through Ramsey County’s Board of Commissioners and Workforce Investment Board, the City of Saint Paul and the City of Minneapolis.
